PAIA manual
This manual is published in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). It explains how to request access to records held by Lumotag.

2. Guide from the Information Regulator
The Information Regulator has published a guide on how to use PAIA. It is available in all official languages from the Regulator's website (inforegulator.org.za).
3. Records we hold
- Customer records: orders, delivery details, correspondence.
- Tag records: tag codes, page content and anonymous tap counts.
- Financial records: payments, refunds and tax records.
- Supplier and operator agreements.
Our terms and conditions, returns policy and privacy notice are available on this website without a formal request.
4. Processing of personal information
The purposes of processing, categories of data subjects and information, recipients, planned cross-border transfers and security measures are described in our privacy notice.
5. How to request access
- Complete Form 2 (Request for Access to Record) prescribed under the PAIA Regulations, available from the Information Regulator's website.
- Email it to hello@lumotag.co.za, with proof of identity.
- We respond within 30 days. Fees, where applicable, are those prescribed in the PAIA Regulations. Requests for your own personal information carry no request fee.
Access may be refused on the grounds set out in Chapter 4 of Part 3 of PAIA. If you disagree with our decision, you may complain to the Information Regulator or apply to court.
